Accommodation

This game reserve in Mpumalanga offers luxury lodge accommodation which has been designed to bring the beauty of the outdoors into the interiors with relaxing warmth of terracotta tones and a subtle blend of timber and thatch. This luxurious accommodation with en-suite bathroom offers a private deck featuring magnificent wraparound views and every modern comfort, ideal for families, groups or individual travellers.

The rooms include 20 double bedded rooms and 18 inter-leading rooms.

Double Bedded Rooms:

Double-bedded rooms with en-suite bathroom (10 of which include a sleeper couch).

Inter-Leading Rooms:

18 rooms which can be inter-leading. 9 Rooms with double beds and 9 rooms with twin beds.

Wildlife

Sit back and relax in an open safari vehicle as your experienced guide amazes you with his knowledge of the bush, the habitat and the animals you encounter. Experience the sights and sounds of the bush as you come into close contact with nature, home to a multitude of many species of wildlife, reptiles and birdlife. The game reserve in Mpumalanga affords guests an opportunity to see first-hand more mammal species than in any other African Game Reserve. The “Big Five” can also be found in the reserve.

Morning and afternoon drives coincide with the best game viewing times.

Conferences

The air- conditioned conference venue is fully-equipped for business delegates. This conference venue near the Kruger National Park provides accommodation for up to 60 delegates. The Deck offers panoramic views, and ample breakaway areas in which to conduct inspirational and stimulating events. It is a revitalising destination for productive strategy-sessions, team building, bush adventures and board meetings.
The conference team will assist in customising your event to your specific requirements and budget, and provide an efficient and professional service, aimed at ensuring the optimum usage of the lodge’s attractions.

Dining: Conference delegates have a choice of dining options in either the main restaurant, viewing deck, or boma. The 4664 Room with its casual lounge area serves light snacks and meals. Dining venues are dependent on delegate numbers and weather.
Please note that no children under the age of 16 are permitted near the conference centre while conferences are in session.

Directions

Self-dive instructions:

From Johannesburg
Take the N4 towards Nelspruit, drive straight through Nelspruit towards Malelane / Komatipoort. 34 km outside Nelspruit turn left at Matsulu turn off. You will notice big fruit vendors on the right hand side. Turn left directly after that onto a sand road and proceed for 7 km’s on a gravel road towards Matsulu gate.
Please do not deviate off the gravel road continue straight all the way. Please proceed from the entrance gate to our Welcome Centre, where you will be met by our friendly staff, and required to park your car before being taken up to the Lodge.
Please advise exactly what time you will be at the gate as it takes 30 minutes for the transfer to drive from the lodge to the Welcome Centre where they will collect you.
