Victoria Falls or Mosi-oa-Tunya (the Smoke that Thunders) is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World and the most popular tourist attraction in the region. Located on the Zambezi River between the countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe, the Falls is the widest falling sheet of water on Earth, with up to 600 million liters rushing over the 110 meter high edge every minute. The impact of the tumbling water creates a permanent cloud of mist that can be seen for miles around. A multitude of birds, insects and small animals thrive in the wet lush rainforest vegetation.

The Victoria Falls forms part of two national parks, offering remarkable Big Five game viewing opportunities, a multitude of activities for both the leisure seeker and adrenalin junkie, and accommodation options to suit all tastes and pockets
