The private Tsala Treetop Lodge is a luxury hideaway, nestled amongst the trees, in the heart of the Southern Cape’s Garden Route. Architecturally inspired by ruins of ancient African civilisations, Tsala’s magnificent stone buildings, luxurious accommodation, fine dining, and stunning views offer guests an opportunity to unwind and recharge. Guests enjoy total privacy in their treetop suites or villas. The nearby towns of Plettenberg Bay and Knysna offer a number of outdoor and cultural activities for all ages and interests.

Accommodation

The elevated suites and villas are tucked away under the forest canopy, and each have a private deck and infinity pool. The ten stone, wood and glass Treetop Suites are perfect for couples and have an elegant bedroom, decadent bathroom, and a sitting room with a fireplace. The six Treetop Villas cater for all a family’s needs and have two en-suite bedrooms with outdoor and indoor showers, large lounge with fireplace, and a dining room. Suites and villas are equipped with modern luxuries including complimentary Wi-Fi, hairdryer, personal in-room safe, bathrobes, slippers, international adaptors, umbrellas, complimentary port in the room, laundry & pressing services, fully stocked mini-bar, tea and coffee making facilities, under floor heating, and air-conditioning.

Directions

• BY ROAD:

Tsala is approximately an hour from George, two and a half hours from Port Elizabeth, and three hours’ drive from Gorah necessitating either car rental or road transfer, both readily available.

• BY AIR:

There are scheduled flights daily to George and Port Elizabeth from all main centres in South Africa. Alternatively, charter flights to nearby Plettenberg Bay Airport are available.
