Overview

Sabi Sand Game Reserve, the “birthplace” of sustainable wilderness tourism and development in Sub-Saharan Africa, loved by by guests and staff alike as a place of wilderness, wildlife and adventure. Home to the extensive Mpumalanga cross-section of wildlife, including the Big Five and various endangered species, the park also shares 50 kilometres of its unfenced boundary line with neighbouring Kruger National Park. Animals pass casually between the two parks, unhindered and abundant.

Nkorho Bush Lodge, located in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, as well as being an established African bushveld getaway – a comfortable nature-environment, where guests can take in some bird watching, or relax in the comfort of their chalets, all the time immersed in the bush experience that is Nkorho Bush Lodge.

Accommodation

Six en-suite thatched chalets are available for accommodation at Nkorho, hosting up to twelve guests. These four-star rated units include a hearty breakfast enjoyed under a thatched deck, dinner around a fire at the leadwood boma, bar facilities, a rock pool, and a laundry service.

Wildlife

To be spotted in the Nkorho area are local rhino, leopard, lion, elephant, buffalo, hippo and crocodile groups, as well as various other general game, and more than 450 bird species.

Children
• Children are welcome at Nkorho Bush Lodge.
• Children under 2 stay for free.
• Children under 12 years of age pay 50% of the adult rate
• Children under the age of 6 years are not allowed to participate in game drives
• No children under 16 years of age may participate in the bushwalks
• Childminders are available at Nkorho Bush Lodge, at an additional cost.
• Please note: that we do not supply cots, only beds, and parents bringing babies should thus bring their own cots.

• At Acornhoek turn in and travel through the main shopping area from there on it is clearly marked to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
