Overview
Black Rhino Game Lodge is a hidden treasure set amongst the trees of an old Tamboti forest at the foot of an ancient volcanic crater that today comprises one of South Africa’s most exciting Big 5 eco-tourism destinations, the greater Pilanesberg National Park. It is from here, accompanied by your personal game ranger, that you will be able explore a 58 000ha malaria free wildlife wonderland and discover the magic of the African bush.
Located in the west side of the ‘Malaria Free’ Pilanesberg National Park, and only 33km from Sun City – Black Rhino Game Lodge is the ideal location for a luxurious bushveld breakaway.
This stunning facility is ideal for solo travellers, families and couples looking for a splendid experience.
Accommodation
The luxury suites are very private and equipped with a mini bar, air conditioner, hot beverage unit and television. The patio doors open out into the bush, and if you look out quietly, you will see the herds of impala or a lone elephant walking by. The designer bathrooms, open out into your own private outside shower, and are perfect to cool down on a hot day.
A top class chef caters for all your exquisite meals in an atmospheric restaurant. Both the bar and the restaurant open out onto the viewing deck, so you are always close to nature.
Black Rhino Game Lodge boasts 14 very spacious and luxuriously appointed free-standing bedroom suites to ensure that you will go wild in style. Each comfortable air-conditioned suite offers a T.V., hot beverage facility, and private patio that opens out into the bush. The designer bathroom opens out onto a totally secluded outdoor shower.
The 4 Family Suites are situated at the Satelite Camp approximately 700 metres from the Main Lodge. The Camp has its own pool and although there are no TV’s in the rooms there is a central lounge with TV.
Wildlife
cThe Lodge is built between a Tamboti forest, overlooking a busy waterhole, which is a hive of bird and animal activity, and a playground for the elephant. On many occasions, the stillness of the night is broken by the roaring of lions, and the franklins sing the morning wake up call. Once, you are awakened with a hot cup of coffee, your host ranger will take you out on an exceptional game drive, taking you through Black Rhino Reserve, into the unexplored valley of the Pilanesberg, until we reach the 200km network Pilanesberg Park roads.

Children:
Children under 12 years of age can be accommodated with parents in the same room. The lodge has a limited number of extra beds so it is subject to availability
0 – 5 years Complimentary when sharing with full paying adults, maximum of 2 children sharing with 2 adults. Children are not permitted on game drive
6 – 11 years Pay child rate when sharing with two full paying adults, maximum of 2 children sharing with 2 adults, Full adult rate applicable if occupying their own room or if sharing with one full paying adult Children are permitted on game drives at management discretion .
12 years and older Considered as adults and accommodated in their own rooms. Pay full adult rates.

Directions
Self-dive instructions:
Travel along the N4 and take the R510 right to Sun City. From the gate of Sun City continue traveling in the direction of Rustenburg for approximately 4kms on the R565. At the stop street, turn right and travel approximately 30kms on the Madikwe road where you will find the entrance of Black Rhino Game Reserve on your right-hand side. It is a tar road all the way to the entrance.
Take the N4 Highway to Sun City – This road leads onto the R556. You will pass Sun City on your right-hand side. Travel to the 4 way stops and turn right onto the R565. Travel on this road R565 for approximately 28km. Black Rhino Game Lodge is on your Right-hand side – marked with a large white board BLACK RHINO GAME RESERVE.
