Itinerary

Day 1 Kruger National Park

Arrive at OR Tambo Airport and board your short charter flight to Kruger, you will then be transferred to Singita Lebombo Lodge, situated on Singita’s private concession in the Kruger National Park. The exclusive concession is a richly diverse habitat, teeming with game, beneath endless African skies. Imaginative wood, steel and organic interiors, all encased in glass, create a stylishly contemporary feel in the suites and make the most of the astonishing views overlooking the river.

Waste no time setting off on one of the many options of activities available such as game drives, guided safari walks, mountain biking, stargazing safaris, archery or by enjoying a relaxing massage at the Spa.

Day 2 – 4 Kruger National Park

Singita Kruger National Park is found on the south eastern reaches of the Kruger National Park, on South Africa’s border with Mozambique.

During your stay at Singita Lebombo Lodge, you are likely to spot a great variety of wildlife, including leopard, famously large prides of lion, white rhino, black rhino, buffalo, elephant, hippopotamus, cheetah and sable.

Day 5

After arriving at OR Tambo International Airport, transfer to Fairlawns Boutique Hotel, a luxury hotel situated in an upmarket suburb of northern Johannesburg. The hotel offers many facilities including swimming pool, manicured gardens, and an in-house health and beauty centre.

Day 6 – 9 Rovos Rail (Pretoria to Victoria Falls)

After breakfast you’re taken to the Rovos Rail station where you climb about the most luxurious train in the world, and travel to thundering Victoria Falls in true old-world style.

This four-day adventure includes journeying alongside the Magaliesberg Mountains; on into Botswana through the capital Gaborone, crossing the Tropic of Capricorn; then into Zimbabwe, passing through Hwange National Park (where wildlife can be spotted on your scheduled game drive), and finally arriving at Victoria Falls where you will be transferred to the Royal Livingstone Hotel.

Travelling aboard Rovos Rail is a truly special experience that recaptures the romance of luxury rail travel. In the evening prepare to dress for dinner – a lavish four-course affair with white-gloved service, while afternoons can be spent chatting to your fellow travellers in the observation carriage with its plush leather armchairs and unique open-air balcony.
