Constantia is an affluent suburb of Cape Town, South Africa, situated about 15 kilometres south of the CBD. Constantia is one of the oldest suburbs of Cape Town and is famed for its wine. Notable wine estates include Groot Constantia, the oldest estate of Steenberg, Buitenverwachting, Klein Constantia, and Constantia Uitsig. Constantia is characterised by vineyards, horse paddocks and majestic views of the Constantia Valley, as well as views across the southern suburbs of Cape Town. Situated in a secluded valley near to the city, Hout Bay is a short drive over the Constantia Nek pass and the beaches of Muizenberg are within easy reach.

The nine luxurious and spacious suites provide guests with spacious accommodation with en-suite bathrooms, private patios, and modern amenities. The family suite includes two en-suite bedrooms with a flat screen TV. The separate lounge area has a flat screen TV and Nintendo Wii for some family fun. For guests wanting privacy and luxury, the pool suites offer a private patio, pool and garden area, and a separate lounge area for relaxing.

Standard features in all rooms and suites include a complimentary mini bar, snacks, tea and coffee tray, hair dryer and shaving points, under floor heating, satellite TV, flat screen TV and DVD player, wireless internet connection ,room safe, air conditioning, heated towel rails, velour robes and slippers, and telephone.

• Should the entire hotel be booked for a group then children of all ages are welcome

Directions from Cape Town International Airport

• Follow the N2 from the airport towards Cape Town City Centre

• Turn left on to the M3 Muizenberg off ramp

• Continue on the M3 until the Kendal Road turn off to the left

• Turn right into Kendal Road and then left into Spaanschemat River Road

• Continue over the traffic lights, and as the road bends at the bottom of the hill, turn right into The Last Word Constantia (before Peddlars on the Bend Restaurant)

• Reception for The Last Word Constantia is on your left as you enter the gate.

Directions

Self-dive instructions:

From Johannesburg

Take the N12 national road to Witbank which becomes the N4 national road. Follow the N4 through Nelspruit and Malelane. About 2 km outside Malelane, take the turn-off to enter the Kruger National Park at the Malelane Gate where an entrance fee is payable. Please have your confirmation or voucher with you.
Once you enter Malelane gate, drive straight on the H3 road, for about 37 km and turn left at the “Jock Safari Lodge” sign. Then a 3 km dirt road and you are at the lodge. Distance from Johannesburg: +/- 458 km

Note:The camp is situated half way between Skukuza and Malelane gates approximately 35 km in both directions with only 3 km of dirt road. Due to the rules and regulations of the Kruger National Park, nobody is allowed on any Kruger National Park roads during the period of gates being closed. Therefore, guests must be at their destination by the time the gates close.
