Accommodation at Shindzela is made in twin bed canvas tents, each complete with solar lighting, elegant wire insect mesh, and shared ablution facilities with running hot and cold water and flush toilets.

Wildlife

Timbavati Game Reserve is the proud home of the indigenous white lions which were reintegrated into the area in 2006. In addition, there are extensive populations of all members of the Big Five, cheetah, wild dog, hyena, zebra, and giraffe, more than 120 listed species of reptile and fish, as well as the gigantic bird population, all of which are put at your fingertips by the resident guides during your stay here.

Self-dive instructions:
From Johannesburg

From Johannesburg or O R Tambo Airport, follow signs for the N12 Witbank (These signs are currently changing – you may now see a sign for R21 Boksburg and then a sign for Witbank (now called Emalahleni). Travel east on the N12, until the N12 and the N4 from Pretoria merge – it is now the N4 highway.

Please Note:
Check in at camp is strictly after 13h00 and before 15h00. However, if you do arrive in camp later than 15h00 you will, unfortunately, miss your first-afternoon safari.
