The Guest House is set in a tranquil secluded garden boasting an impressive assortment of indigenous trees and plants and an abundance of local bird life. The spacious central lounge area and honesty bar, the swimming pool and open-air dining areas have all been designed to maximise and capture the unique beauty of the majestic Limpopo province ensuring our guests experience an authentic Bushveld holiday.

Accommodation

Hotel:

Each of the 30 hotel rooms, consisting of Family Suites, Luxury and Classic Rooms, have been individually decorated with custom-designed Orangewood Furniture, recycled wood taken from aged citrus trees synonymous with the fruit-growing Limpopo region. Each room can be made up as a Twin or King, depending on your needs, and are equipped with 32” Flat screen TV’s (with 19 selected DSTV Channels), a bar fridge and a full tea and coffee station. All rooms have air-conditioning and spacious on-suite bathrooms with a shower and a bath. Classic Rooms have only a shower.

The hotel is a family destination offering 8 Family Suites, four upstairs with elevated views of the surrounding Bushveld or four ground level suites, designed with busy families in mind – including more space, king-size beds, custom-designed pull-out Day beds for children under 16 years of age, a private deck and larger bathrooms. The Day Bed, situated in the Living area, when not being used as a bed can be converted into a comfortable couch along with a table.

However, if a more private retreat is on the cards, 18 Luxury Rooms offer solitude and exclusivity. With either views overlooking the pool and garden or the Bushveld, these rooms offer a choice of either Twin or King-size beds, modern and spacious bathrooms with shower and bath and patio. Two of the Luxury Rooms are situated conveniently close to the Lounge and Reception areas with specially designed wheel-chair access with larger doorways and handrails in the bathrooms.

The Marula Suite is the honeymoon suite and accordingly designed as a haven of comfort and opulence looking out over the Bushveld. With its antique king size four poster bed, spacious living area and large bathroom boasting a double bath and double shower, this suite is the perfect hideaway for couples.

Guest House:

Eight well-appointed rooms have been designed in a U-shape around the collective reception; lounge, dining and entertainment areas ensuring guests can share meals and sundowners with friends, family and fellow guests but also enjoy the privacy of their rooms in close proximity.

Luxury air-conditioned rooms, individually decorated with their own themes, each feature an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Rooms can be made up as a Twin or King, as per your preference. All the rooms have outside-facing sliding doors bringing you closer to the sights and sounds of the nearby bush and are all equipped with a flat screen TV, a bar fridge and coffee/tea station.

Extra attention has been given to wheel-chair bound guests, with one room equipped for easy access and use, sporting an extra wide entrance and ramped walkways. The bathroom has been fitted with handrails at the toilet and in the wet-room.

Bush walks in Kruger

A guided bush walk in the Kruger is a great way to experience nature up close. One gets to learn more about the finer elements of the bush not normally seen from a vehicle; from trees and flowers, insects and spiders to tracks and sign, and much more, not to mention the excitement of viewing animals on foot in their natural environment.  There are various walks to choose from. A must do!

Guided game drives in Kruger

If abundant sightings of game is what you’re after, guided game drives in an open game viewer is the way to go.  A knowledgeable Kruger Park Guide will interpret the bush for you and what’s more, he/she has access to no-entry roads not normally travelled by the general public (as well as being up to date with daily sightings in the area!). The game drive times are planned around sunrise and sunset, peak activity time for animals. Great for animal enthusiast!

Mountain bike Trails in Kruger

Riding one of the Mountain Bike Trails is a great way to see the Kruger. An activity for the more fit and adventurous, its an enviable physical achievement with a 13km, 20km and 30km route to choose from. Although the routes are technically undemanding, one has to be relatively fit to enjoy the trails to their fullest.  Bikes and helmets are provided by the Park. We love this!

Self-drive game viewing in Kruger

This is a great way to really experience the Kruger Park – pack your own snacks or order a picnic basket from The Hat & Creek Restaurant to enjoy at one of the rest camps or picnic sites. Explore the Kruger Park in your own company and at your leisure. Take along your reference books and binoculars and learn more about the birds and animals in the area. Ideal for families!
